Earlier this month, Fusion City Church celebrated ten years of ministry in the heart of Gungahlin. Hundreds of people from the local community attended the milestone birthday celebration that was marked with festivities including jumping castles, inflatable challenges, a mechanical bull, Velcro wall, face painting as well as a balloon drop and confetti cannons.
“It was an incredible privilege to celebrate this occasion with the local community. We looked back to where we started and celebrated everything that God has done over the past decade. But most importantly, we looked ahead because our best days are yet to come!” says Ps Matt McGaw.
Fusion received messages of congratulations from friends and pastors across Australia and internationally, who acknowledged Fusion as a thriving church and commended them for their work in the local community. The service included testimonies of transformation from those who have called Fusion home over the past ten years highlighting that it is a place where people are welcome– no matter their cultural background, their age, their story, where they come from or what they are facing.
Special guests at the event included pastors and friends from churches across the region and nation as well as leadership staff representing Palmerston Primary and Burgmann Anglican School.
Fusion City Church meets at Palmerston Primary School every Sunday at 10am. Everybody is welcome.
“It is the heart of Fusion City Church is to see people know and enjoy God, discover their purpose and make a difference.”
