Police investigate a Gungahlin death

ACT Policing is investigating the suspicious death of a 56-year-old man overnight (Monday 11 March 2019).

At about 2am police were called to a residence in Gungahlin following reports of an altercation and located the 56–year–old man who had suffered critical injuries. CPR was conducted however the male died at the scene.

A 30-year-old man is currently assisting police with enquiries.

This death is being investigated by ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations.

Police are urging anyone who may have any CCTV or information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6372686. Information can be provided anonymously.
