A 31-year-old man has been extradited from New South Wales to face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday, 11 January). Last year we reported Police seek assistance to aggravated robbery

The man was released from Cooma Gaol on 10 January 2017 and arrested by NSW police on behalf of ACT Policing. After appearing in the Queanbeyan Local Court for a hearing, he was transported the ACT Watch House a short time later.

The man is facing charges relating to the aggravated robbery of the Cellarbrations Liquor Store in Nicholls, ACT on 27 April 2016. It is alleged that he and an accomplice used a stolen vehicle and held up the store brandishing a firearm that was pointed at the attendant.

He also faces family violence charges from 9 May 2016. Police will be opposing bail for all charges.

ACT Policing thank NSW Police for their assistance in this matter.
