CANBERRA CENTENARY SLEEPOUT – OCTOBER 25

On Friday October 25, Communities@Work and St Vincent de Paul are hosting the Canberra Centenary Sleepout. This is an opportunity for you, your colleagues, your family and friends to raise funds to break the cycle of homelessness in Canberra.

Canberra has the 2nd highest rate of homelessness in Australia and on any given night nearly 2,000 people in Canberra are homeless. You can help change this appalling fact. A city as giving and compassionate as Canberra is diminished by the reality that so many in our community are not afforded the dignity of a home.

Join the Movement to Make Homelessness History

1. REGISTER for the Sleepout. You can do this as an individual, an organisation or a family. Visit http://sleepout.gofundraise.com.au/ for more information and to register.

2. DONATE to the cause – http://sleepout.gofundraise.com.au/ Our recommendation is to donate to the Care & Share team. http://sleepout.gofundraise.com.au/page/number1
