Taylor blocks made available by Ballot

The Land Development Agency today announced that the first single residential blocks in Taylor will be made available by Ballot with registrations starting in February. This release comprises 126 blocks ranging in size from 250m2 to 587m2.

Details about the available blocks including sizes and prices can be viewed in the sales brochure or on the Taylor interactive map.

Land Rent is available to eligible purchases buying blocks valued at $300,000 or less. More information about Land Rent is available from the ACT Revenue Office.

Registrations for the Ballot will be open from 10am Friday 10th February 2017 until 4pm Monday 20th February 2017. You will find the link for registrations on this page once the Ballot is open www.lda.act.gov.au/taylor/current-land-for-sale

You, or a related party to you, can only register once and all names you require on the lease MUST be included on the registration form.

Your registration will be confirmed by email using the details provided on the online registration form.

NOTE: If you have registered for previous sales events you will need to register again.

Ballot Draw And Block Selection

The ballot draw will be conducted on Thursday 9 March 2017.

Successful registrants will be advised of their place in the ballot draw via email.

You will need to confirm your continued interest in the ballot by 4pm Monday 20 March 2017. Only people who confirm their continued interest will be invited to attend a Block Selection Appointment.

Block selection appointments will commence on Wednesday 29 March 2017 and only the first 126 appointments are guaranteed a block selection.

You will be required to enter into a First Grant Contract and pay a deposit of 5% of the block price (for a Standard Lease) or $2,000 (for a Land Rent Lease) immediately after you select your block. This can be paid via Credit Card, Eftpos or Bank Cheque. A 10% deposit is required if paying by bond or bank guarantee. Cash will not be accepted. Please confirm with your bank regarding your daily transaction limits and any pre-approvals required to exceed this limit. Please note you will not be permitted to leave the venue to get your deposit.
