A 33-year-old Forde man and a 27-year-old Bruce woman will faced court on Thursday 20th March after they were arrested on drug charges on Wednesday night, 19 March.
Around 6.40pm, members from ACT Policing’s Drugs and Organised Crime team, with the assistance of Surveillance and the AFP Special Response Group (SRG) executed a search warrant on the man and his vehicle at a location in Bruce.
Officers located a small bag containing a crystalline substance, believed to be methylamphetamine.
Police then conveyed the man to his address in Forde and conducted a search of his premises. Officers located drug paraphernalia including two sets of scales and smoking implements.
The man was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with drug offences.
Around the same time, members from SRG also executed a search warrant at the woman’s residence in Bruce.
A small amount of crystalline substance, suspected of being methylamphetamine, ecstasy tablets, steroids and suspected stolen property were located and seized.
The woman was then conveyed to the ACT Watch House where she was charged with possessing and trafficking drugs.
