Driver attacked in serious road rage case at Mitchell, police allege

It is alleged a driver was attacked by the occupants of another car in a serious case of road rage from the weekend.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the alleged incident from about 6 pm on Saturday (19 August) in Mitchell.

It is alleged a red Audi S3 and a green Holden Cruze were driving south on Flemington Road towards Mitchell and had been interacting in sections where there were two lanes, as well as in the single lane section.

Both cars stopped at the intersection of Flemington Road and Sanford Street and the occupants of the Cruze allegedly got out of their vehicle and assaulted the Audi’s driver.

Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the lead-up to the incident, or of the alleged assault at the intersection.
