Dainere's Rainbow Bal Masque Gala Fundraising Dinner 2019

On Saturday the 15th June 2019 over 200 masked guests attended the GroupOne Dainere’s Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund’s Bal Masque Gala Dinner at The Abbey, Gold Creek.

This years Gala Dinner was to celebrate and honour Dainere Anthoney in what should have been her 21st birthday year. From when Dainere was diagnosed with a brain tumour she was incredibly inspiring, tireless, passionate, selfless, prolific and devoted to advocacy and fundraising work to give hope and create change for every single child diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The Dainere’s Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund Committee had set a goal of raising $45,000 from the evening. The Committee and Anthoney family are completely overwhelmed, absolutely honoured, extremely humbled and grateful beyond words to announce that the Total Funds Raised at the GroupOne Dainere’s Rainbow Bal Masque Gala Fundraising Dinner 2019 was a record breaking $50,945.00. 100% of this money goes directly to research at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation into paediatric brain tumours.

The Abbey was decorated by Ivory Hollow Events, Eclipse Lighting and Sound provided the lighting and sound and Happy Days Jukebox and Party Hire provided large light up letters light spelling our DAINERE and their Mirror Me Booth. For dinner guests enjoyed wonderful meals prepared by The Abbey and were entertained by Marie Antoinette (Deidre Rose), Mickey Sulit, H-CEE Family, Tabla Bellydance and The Winter Fox Oracle.

For all the children diagnosed with paediatric brain tumours, those who have lost their courageous battles, those who are presently fighting and those who are survivors but have been left with devastating side effects from this horrendous disease these funds raised are in honour of you all.
