“Being prepared to take a slightly different direction to innovate, to engage with the rest of the world but also to have real focus on what is happening locally” is the direction Canberra is progressing in according to ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr who stepped out last Friday night to assist popular local business Adore Tea launch their new identity at a rebrand party on Friday night.

The longstanding haven for tea lovers in the Canberra region was crowned “Best Tea House in Australia” at the Australian International Tea Expo earlier this year. Adore Tea CEO Marc Nieuwenhuys believes it is time to capitalise on the success of the family owned and run business to better themselves in the market and begin to challenge other brands “we are not just a new logo, but a new representation of ourselves. A simplified version, a version that reflects what it’s all about; passion, integrity and quality tea”.

The launch party provided an evening of celebration, exploration of the new identity and the release of a brand new tea blended exclusively for the Jamala Wildlife Lodge for the 35O strong crowd who attended. The Chief Minister was very pleased with the collaboration of local businesses as it truly demonstrates the talent the region has to offer “there is amazing talent in this city, there are some fantastic tourism experiences and as we know world class tea”.
