Gungahlin’s newest childcare centre is due to open in just weeks.
Bright Beginnings Gungahlin is a family owned and operated Early Childhood Service.
Erin and Troy Allen along with Michael and Kate O’Malley and Belinda and Nathan Forrest are all co-owners. Erin is the driving force behind the Early Childhood Services with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. She holds her Diploma in Children’s Services and Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood. Erin and Troy are also owners of Succeed Consultancy which will be looking after Bright Beginnings Gungahlin as well as supporting, managing and mentoring the Service. The owner’s also have another Early Childhood Service together in Queanbeyan; called Q Care.
You would have noticed the purpose built, modern and spacious building for Bright Beginnings being built opposite the Gungahlin Joint Emergency Service Centre on Anthony Rolfe Avenue. Bright Beginnings is an architecturally designed purpose built modern Early Childhood Service.
The Service will cater across the Early Childhood ages from birth up to the school years. Their curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework. They will be open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, 52 weeks of the year.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon are supplied by the centre and are nutritionally balanced. The dining rooms are designed to allow for staff to continue focussing on education and caring rather than on cleaning.
