24 year old Casey man to face Court following aggravated robberies

ACT Policing has arrested a 24-year-old Casey man following a string of aggravated robberies during late December and early January.

Following reports of several aggravated robberies, investigators from the City and Belconnen Criminal Investigation Teams identified the alleged offender and executed a search warrant yesterday (Monday, 9 January 2017).

The man was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with three counts of aggravated robbery (offensive weapon) and one count of minor theft. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.

Police will oppose bail.
