The ACT Government has advised of temporary closures on Sandford Street, Mitchell, between Gungahlin Drive and the roundabout at the entrance to Norwood Park Crematorium this weekend.
The closures will be in place from 7.30 pm Friday 4 March 2016 to 5 pm on Sunday 6 March 2016 to allow for works associated with the Gungahlin Drive project to be conducted.
The closures are to allow for resealing works to take place. Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people to the closure. Access to the cemetery and crematorium will be maintained from Hoskins Street.
The ACT Government apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the community for their patience while this work and other road projects in the area are underway.
