Each ACT public school gives priority to the enrolment of children living in its Priority Enrolment Area (PEA). The following information outlines the schools Moncrieff is in their PEA.
Primary - North Gungahlin Primary School or Amaroo School*
High School - Amaroo School
College - Gungahlin College
*NOTE: North Gungahlin Primary School opens start of 2019. Amaroo School is the PEA until 2019.

Wednesday is rubbish collection day for Moncrieff. Recycling is collected on public service pay weeks. Your bins should be out by 7am on the scheduled collection day and it is recommended you bring them back in as soon as possible after collection. If your rubbish was not collected contact Suez on 6280 1547 within 24 hours and leave your bin on the kerb until collected.
COMMUNITY BOOK BOX
Located near Wagi Bridge on Jorgensen Street, this Book Box works as a free book exchange (a local, free library!) where the community can come together to meet, share books and spark new friendships through creative conversation. The Moncrieff Book Box was launched in September 2019 in recognition of Indigenous Literacy Day and was a joint initiative of Mingle and Belconnen Arts Centre
FREE FITNESS PROGRAM
This program is an opportunity for the community to come together and connect through fitness.
Classes are held Monday to Friday, 5:30pm-6:15pm at Moncrieff Recreation Park (look for the flags to meet the trainer). Residents are welcome to attend as many classes as they like!

Wednesday - Active Boxing
Thursday - Cross Training
Friday - Active Boxing
You must register online to get involved. The form is detailed and will give you access to sign up to classes as well as a customised meal guide.
