Two to face court on aggravated burglary and theft offences

A 27-year-old Ngunnawal man and a 23-year-old Moncrieff woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Friday 25 August) charged with aggravated burglary and theft offences.

On Friday 11 August 2017, police attended a burglary at residence in Casey where a number of items were stolen from the location.

As part of this investigation, police identified two possible suspects.

Yesterday (24 August) members from Gungahlin and City Police Station executed a search warrant on the premises in Moncrieff. A number of items reported stolen from the burglary were located and seized from the premises.

The man and the woman were arrested at the location and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where they were charged with a number of property offences.
