The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of temporary closures this Thursday 21 and Friday 22 April 2016 for the Majura Parkway opening event.
From midday to 3 pm Thursday 21 April 2016, the southbound on ramp from Fairbairn Avenue onto the Majura Parkway will be closed and traffic will be merged to one lane just before the southbound bridge over the Molonglo River.
From 9.30 am to 2 pm Friday 22 April 2016, the southbound lanes of the Majura Parkway will be closed from Tambreet Street to south of the bridge over the Molonglo River. Detours will be in place with southbound traffic to be directed along Majura Road.
Barriers and warning signs will be erected to alert people to the closures.
The ACT Government apologises for any inconvenience this may cause. To minimise impact on motorists the closures have been scheduled outside of peak periods.
