ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue were called to a single vehicle accident at the corner of Amagula Avenue and Taggery Street in Ngunnawal today at 5:52pm.
Crews were required to use hydraulic rescue tools to rescue the man trapped in the vehicle by a tree.
The man in his 20’s sustained serious injuries and after being stabilised by intensive care paramedics at the scene was transported to Canberra Hospital for further treatment.
Witnesses reported the ambulance was provided a police escort to Canberra hospital.
