As the months are getting cooler this means we are approaching flu season. Now is the time to protect yourself against the flu.
Discount Pharmacy Mitchell and Forde are running Flu Clinics through the months of March, April and May.
You can now get your flu vaccination at one of the Discount Pharmacy locations for $25.95. This saves a trip to your GP for the script, a trip to the pharmacy to get the script filled and then back to the GP.
All you need to do is call your closest store to make an appointment with a prescribing nurse to provide the vaccine. The whole visit should take 20 minutes. 3 minutes for the vaccination and then an observation period afterwards.
People aged 65 years and over, pregnant women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 15 years and over and individuals aged six months and over with underlying medical conditions are entitled to a free vaccination through ACT Health. Contact ACT Health for more information.
