The Land Development Agency will release two groups of premium blocks in Throsby and Taylor for auction later this month.
The 21 premium single residential blocks in Taylor are the next general release in Canberra’s newest suburb. While Taylor will eventually have 2,500 dwellings these generously-sized blocks are some of the best located, surrounded by landscaped open space, walking trails and waterways.
Another 22 premium single residential blocks will also be released in the highly-desirable suburb of Throsby. These large parkside blocks offer views across Gungahlin to the Brindabellas.
LDA Chief Executive Officer David Dawes said the premium nature of the two releases would make them highly sought after.
“The location and size of these blocks will be very attractive to potential buyers,” Mr Dawes said.
“The blocks range in size between 405 and 804 square metres and are next to parks and open spaces.
“The Throsby blocks are ready to build on now and the Taylor blocks will be ready in the coming months.
“In addition to the Throsby blocks still available over the counter, these releases present a great opportunity for purchasers to get land that is build-ready, or will be ready very soon.”
The auction will be held at EPIC on Sunday, 30 April. Customers are advised to pre-register with the LDA’s appointed sales Agent Luton Properties. For more information contact Luton on 1300 776 054 or email [email protected]
Earlier this week the first 126 single residential blocks in Taylor were sold via ballot at block selection appointments at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club.
There were 298 appointments allocated across the two days and 144 people arrived ready to purchase.
Blocks sold in the first release were between 250 and 587 square metres and ranged from $221,000 to $383,000. There were 29 land rent contracts entered into.
Four multi-unit sites in Taylor and three multi unit sites in Throsby will be auctioned on April 27, while tenders for another three multi-unit sites and two super lots in Taylor will close on April 11.
Further releases in Taylor and Throsby will be announced in coming months.
