Police investigate suspicious fire in Ngunnawal

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious house fire in Ngunnawal that occurred on Friday (17 March 2017).

Around 4.40pm police attended Minnta Place in Ngunnawal, where a residence was reported to be well alight.

There were no occupants in the residence at the time of the fire and ACT Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the blaze.

AFP Forensic Services are conducting an examination of the scene and investigations by ACT Policing are ongoing.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or have any information on the cause of the fire to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
