Police investigate serious collision

Police are seeking witnesses to a single-vehicle collision last night (Tuesday 22 December) on Horse Park Drive, Kenny, ACT, in which a man has been seriously injured.

About 9.55pm, ACT Policing Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team officers attended a single-vehicle collision involving a Toyota Land Cruiser utility on Horse Park Drive, Kenny. The car was travelling west on Horse Park Drive when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the road and came to a stop, overturned, down an embankment near the intersection with the Federal Highway.

The ACT Ambulance Service attended and transported the 27-year-old male driver to The Canberra Hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained during the collision. The man has since been transported to Sydney for further treatment and remains in a serious condition.

ACT Policing Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
