Final asphalt laying works will be undertaken on Flemington Road at the intersection od Mapleton Avenue and Manning Clark Crescent from 8:00pm Friday, 1 to 6:00am Monday, 4 February .
Traffic Management and Detours:
There will be traffic changes and detours during these works. These include:
- No right-turn onto Flemington Road from Manning Clark Crescent and Mapleton Avenue
- No right-turn into Manning Clark Crescent and Mapleton Avenue from Flemington Road
- No through access between Mapleton Avenue and Manning Clark Crescent
- Detours via Nullarbor Avenue (southbound) and Wizard Street (northbound)
The equipment to be used includes: road milling and asphalt laying equipment, road rollers, line marking equipment and trucks.
The project team will ensure the number of machines operating at the same time is limited and equipment turned off when not in use. Non-tonal reversing beepers will be used* and workers will be instructed to keep noise to a minimum.
