A draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Capital Metro Stage One is now available for community comment as part of the project’s planning process. This marks another important milestone in the planning and delivery of the first stage of Canberra’s light rail network. The document describes the potential impacts of proposed activity on the environment and outlines ways to avoid, minimise or ease potential impacts of the project.
In line with Capital Metro Agency’s commitment to openness and transparency, they are hosting two community drop-in information sessions in Gungahlin and encourages you to come along and learn more about the draft EIS and provide feedback.
