The new section of Ernest Cavanagh Street between Hinder Street and Manning Clark Crescent in Gungahlin town centre is now open to traffic.
Construction work on the extension of Ernest Cavanagh Street between Hinder Street and Manning Clark Crescent is complete. This project will improve traffic flow and safety in the area and provide access to part of the eastern side of Gungahlin Town Centre.
The upgrade has delivered:
- a new section of road with one lane in each direction between Hinder Street and Manning Clark Crescent
- footpaths on both sides of the road and pedestrian crossings
- on street parking bays
- utility services to blocks adjacent to the road.
