ACT Policing’s Taskforce Nemesis has seized drugs, cash and firearms during an early morning search of a Ngunnawal residence yesterday (19 November).

According to police, they entered the home at about 5:30 am and seized more than 300 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash as well as two firearms and ammunition.

Investigations are continuing and police expect charges to be laid once forensic analysis is complete.

Detective Acting Inspector Mark Steel said the search warrant was another good result for Taskforce Nemesis.

“Taskforce Nemesis continues to apply pressure to those who are involved in organised crime including outlaw motorcycle gangs,” Detective Acting Inspector Steel said.

Taskforce Nemesis was established in 2014 to track, disrupt and arrest members of Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMCG) involved in criminal activities across the ACT.

ACT Policing urges anyone who may have information relating to criminal activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via CrimeStoppers. Information can be provided anonymously.
