Social League Baseball is coming to Gungahlin and they are looking for players to join in the fun. Social League is a modified game of slow pitch baseball which is all about having, fun, being social and enjoying a few drinks with friends. The emphasis really is on the “social” aspect, so much so, they are licensed to allow players to enjoy a cold beer or cider on the playing paddock! Picture yourself about to catch a ball, with your glove on one hand, while trying not to spill a drop of the drink in your other hand!
This awesome game is going to be available to all Gungahlin residents, regardless of age, gender, athletic ability, anybody can play Social League. They have literally got players ranging from ex professional athletes, to grandmas, and everyone in between. It’s fantastic!
The 2017 Gungahlin competition will be held on Wednesdays starting 1st February – 29th March, 6pm – 7pm at Ngunnawal Primary oval, see map. The cost is $130 per player, per season. Register here.
