Construction is nearing completing on the new ACT Government building, Winyu House on the corner of The Valley Avenue and Gungahlin Place in the Gungahlin town centre. The scaffolding is starting to come down revealing a well designed building. It will fit well into the landscape in the town centre.
It is expected about 600 ACT Government staff will move into the building after the buildings due completion date in May this year.
An ACT Government Canberra Connect shop-front and child care centre with about 90 places will be included in the development.
Having an additional 600 people in the town centre Monday to Friday is going to be a fantastic boost for the businesses in the Gungahlin town centre.
