A Development Application (201833582) has been published for Block 37, Section 20 in Mitchell which is the corner of Lysaght and Essington Street Mitchell. This site is next to Coates Hire. The site is currently used as overflow storage space for Coates Hire.
The Development Application covers some demolition to structures on the site and the development of a Metro petrol station and car wash. The service station will have four double-sided bowers under a canopy with a convenience store and 8 car parking spaces. The car wash will have 4 hand wash bays and 4 vacuum bays. There will be an additional 10 car spaces for the car wash. Vehicle access to the site will be from Lysaght Street.

This will be the second service station in Mitchell. The Caltex station is currently undergoing refurbishment and is expected to reopen in June 2018.
