Gungahlin parkrun on Christmas Day
28 Dec, 2018
On Christmas Day 263 parkrunners took part in a special Gungahlin parkrun event. This event was supported by 16 volunteers who gave up their Christmas morning to ensure this event could go ahead. Many people who attended delayed opening Christmas presents to take part in the free 5km event around Yerrabi Pond. There were many people dressed in Christmas costumes and Santa may have started the event with Ready, Steady, Ho, Ho, Ho.
One of Gungahlin parkrun regulars was joined by her twin sister from Brisbane who ran her 200th parkrun on the day which is a massive milestone, congratulations Gwen. Elspeth and Joel reach the 50 milestone club on Christmas Day, congratulations to you both.
