For the upcoming ACT Government in 2016 election I can announce I will be running as an Independent under the My Gungahlin party in the newly formed Yerrabi electorate.
With the expansion of the Assembly, the redistribution of ACT electoral boundaries now is an excellent opportunity to have a greater representation in the assembly for Gungahlin.
As a resident of Gungahlin for 10 years and having developed an understanding of the Gungahlin community through My Gungahlin I feel best to be able to represent Gungahlin in the Assembly. The new electoral boundaries do include some Belconnen suburbs. I did grow up and go to school in Belconnen so there is some affinity to Belconnen and therefore feel able to represent those Belconnen suburbs along with Gunghalin.
An announcement on key policies will be released over the coming 12 months into the lead up to the election, however road duplication, planning, transport and health will be high on the agenda.
