The ACT Government has advised that there will be temporary lane closures on Fairbairn Avenue in two stages on Thursday 2nd July 2015, from 9am to 4pm.
Fairbairn Avenue westbound from the intersection with the Majura Parkway on-ramp to the intersection with Majura Road will be closed from 9am to 1pm.
Fairbairn Avenue eastbound will be closed from Northcott Drive to Morsehead Drive from 12pm to 4pm. Motorists are urged to make use of the diversion that will be in place on Northcott Drive.
Weather permitting, similar arrangements will be in place on Tuesday 7th and Tuesday 14th July during off peak periods.
The lane closures are to allow works on the Fairbairn Avenue bridge to be conducted as part of the Majura Parkway project.
Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people to the lane closures.
