On 8th March at Annie’s Armadillos café in Gold Creek, the Rotary Club of Aurora Gungahlin held our fifth Jazz Evening. With 107 people attending, this was our biggest event ever and raised $4,884 which was donated equally to “Karinya House” and “Home at Queanbeyan”.
Some excellent jazz and Broadway entertainment from our friends Mike Dooley, Rachel Thorne, Gaye Reid, Tony Hayley and Annie and the Armadillos [Michael Lynch, Ben Schumann] kept everyone entertained and dancing until late in the evening. The music just keeps getting better and better.
Our thanks also goes to local supporters including; George Harcourt Hotel, Shaw Winery, Carlee, Bower Birds and our generous Rotarians.
