On Monday, Students and Teachers at Holy Spirit Primary School raised money by dressing up as farmers for Fiver for a Farmer raising over $4,000.
Students and Teachers were encouraged to leave their usual uniforms at home and come to school dressed as farmers. The School’s Principal, Brad Gaynor who would normally not allow denim to be worn at the school by Students or Teachers coped well on the day amongst the flannel and denim. He was heard saying “It’s all for a good cause! It’s all for a good cause! It’s all for a good cause!” Mr Gaynor congratulated the school community for getting behind this initiative.
The money raised through A Fiver for a Farmer Day is donated to Rural Aid Ltd and Drought Angels.
