Gungahlin Jets represent ACT

This weekend a number of Gungahlin Jets AFL players will be representing ACT as part of the 2017 AFL NSW / ACT representative fixture this weekend.

AFL Canberra has sent a talented squad of Under 17’s, Women’s and Men’s teams to Wagga Wagga today to claim bragging rights against their Southern NSW neighbours.

Matt McGory, Jarryd Karo and Ben Rose were selected for the final 22 of the ACT under 17 representative team.

The ACT Women’s team was bolstered by Assistant Coach – Susan Cadman, Team Manager – Rachel Dobing, Brit Tully (Co-Captain), Madelaine Shevlin, Kiley Green, Courtney Porter, Shannen Rowe, Caitlin Bunker, Kaitlin Dobing.

Declan Gillian was selected in the ACT men’s team but is unfortunately overseas this weekend.

I am sure they will all make Gungahlin proud!
