Earlier this year we put the call out Do we have a super kid or super school in Gungahlin? for The Good Guys Super Kids awards.
Ellie G was nominated anonymously for her fundraising for the Onesie for a Day Campaign for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. We shared Ellie’s fundraising page on our Facebook page and a number of My Gungahlin followers donated to ensure she made her target. Ellie well and truly met her initial target, in fact she more than tripled it! We got a very gorgeous thank you note from Ellie too: How gorgeous is this!
Ellie, a Burgmann Anglican School student was named a National Finalist in April and received a special award from The Good Guys in Belconnen.
