ACT Policing has arrested a 31-year-old man and 42-year-old woman, after executing a search warrant on a residence in Palmerston early yesterday morning (Friday, 22 November).
Gungahlin patrol members executed the Drugs of Dependence Act search warrant on the home around 4.45am locating a quantity of drugs suspected to be heroin.
A quantity of drug paraphernalia was also located, along with several property items suspected to be stolen.
The man and woman were conveyed to the ACT Watch House where each was charged with drug trafficking and possession. They will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, 23 November).
ACT Policing is currently running a three-month campaign targeting illicit drugs in the community.
