“We support Australian small business. This market provides a platform for creative artisans to sell their designs directly to customers, allowing them to speak first-hand about their products. Connecting the two creates such a positive atmosphere, it’s hard to describe. But we see the result in numbers.
In lieu of an admission charge to each market Handmade Canberra hosts charities as door greeters for gold coin donations or provides a stall for larger donations and the sharing of information. Send Hope Not Flowers will be the door greeters, with the ACT Red Cross providing a gift wrapping service at the upcoming Christmas Market.
