A team of 7 from Gungahlin State Emergency Service is flying to Tasmania today to represent the ACT SES in the National Disaster Rescue Challenge over the weekend.
The team have worked extremely hard over the last 18 months to prepare for this and we are very proud of them, and will benefit from this extra training in many ways.
The NDRC will see teams from across each state/terrirory represent their respective SES by competing in a series of scenarios based challenges to be crowned the National Winners. The NDRC was last held in 2015 where Canberra was lucky enough to host.
We wish the team all the best of luck and I am sure they will do Gungahlin and the ACT proud.
