Best selling author Judy Nunn will visit the Gungahlin library, tonight, Wednesday 4th November 2015, to talk about her latest book Spirits of the Ghan.
“We are excited to welcome Judy to our library and to provide Canberrans with an opportunity to meet such a popular author,” Vanessa Little, Director of Libraries ACT said today.
“Judy Nunn has sold over one million books around the world and has based many of her novels in remote locations across Australia.
“The inspiration for this book came from her desire to write a book set in Australia’s Red Centre and, after taking a journey on the Ghan Railway, she used the stunning backdrop of the railway in putting pen to paper.
“Spirits of the Ghan tells the story of two people involved in completing the Ghan Railway and their respective cultures colliding.
“I encourage anyone with an interest in great Australian literature to attend this event.”
