More Canberrans will have an opportunity to build their dream home in Taylor with the launch of 175 blocks, which will go to auction in November. Ranging between 315m2 to 938m2, many of these blocks offer sweeping views to Gungahlin’s town centre across Moncrieff. Taylor’s natural beauty, accessibility and amenity make it one of Canberra’s most appealing new communities.

The reserve prices for each block are now publicly available, allowing buyers to be more prepared to bid on their preferred block. The reserve prices can be found in the sales brochure (attached) or on the Suburban Land Agency website.

“Our latest release in Taylor offers a diverse range of land sizes and prices which we expect to attract buyers from all corners of the market,” Chief Executive Officer, John Dietz said.

“With reserves starting at $285,000 for land within 10 minutes drive of the Gungahlin Town Centre, I believe we will see plenty of interested buyers at the auction in late November.

“We believe, by providing the market with reserve prices before the auction, it will allow purchasers more time to make an informed decision. It follows the Agency’s commitment to find a balance between social, environmental and financial responsibilities.

“Purchasing land is a big decision for anyone. If we can help ease some of that stress and allow a better preparation for auction through disclosed reserve pricing, I think that is a good thing.

“Backed by our community development program Mingle, which will soon launch in Taylor, I look forward to the continued growth of our Taylor community following the release of these 175 blocks.”

Taylor is one of Canberra’s newest suburbs, with its first residents moving in just a few months ago. The suburb will eventually be home to about 5,000 people.
