The ACT government has advised that there will be nightworks carried out on Gundaroo Drive between Gungahlin Drive and the Nudurr Drive/Candlebark Close roundabout from Tuesday 19 May 2020 for the final stages of road resurfacing in this section.
Location and timing of works
Road resurfacing commenced as dayworks from Friday 15 May 2020. From Tuesday 19 May 2020, nightworks will be carried out for three nights.
Nightworks are planned to be staged as follows (weather permitting):
- Tuesday 19 May 2020: removal of the existing road surface at the Burrowa Drive/Ibis Street roundabout.
- Wednesday 20 May 2020: removal of the existing road surface at the Nudurr Drive/Candlebark Close roundabout and the final layer of resurfacing from Gungahlin Drive to the Burrowa Drive/Ibis Street roundabout.
- Thursday 21 May 2020: final layer of resurfacing from the Burrowa Drive/Ibis Street roundabout to the Nudurr Drive/Candlebark Close roundabout.
Nightwork hours are from 6 pm to 6 am. Lane closures will be in place and access may be temporarily unavailable at the roundabout whilst work is underway. Detours will be in place.
