ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to multiple car break-ins in Gungahlin over the past few nights (October 5-9).

There have been 15 reports of offenders breaking into cars and taking vehicle contents from the suburbs of Crace, Palmerston and Gungahlin. These break-ins have all occurred in the early hours of the morning.

There have also been three burglaries during these periods.

Police request anyone that may have CCTV vision in these areas to review the footage and see if they can identify any persons acting suspiciously.

Police also urge anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au and quote reference number 5866199. Information can be provided anonymously.

We remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Anyone that has not yet reported that their vehicle has been damaged is urged to call ACT Policing on 131-444.

**Vehicle thefts are often opportunistic crimes where unsecure cars or cars containing items are attractive targets. Residents are reminded to remove all valuables from their car and ensure their car is locked and window’s closed before leaving their car parked**
