Witnesses sought; aggravated robbery in Gungahlin

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after a teenager was robbed of his bicycle yesterday (November 15) afternoon.

Around 4.15pm the 15-year-old male teenager lent his bicycle to a man while at the Yerrabi Ponds Skate Park in Gungahlin.

When the teenager requested the return of his bicycle, the man showed the teenager a knife which was concealed inside his vest and made verbal threats.

The man then rode away on the stolen bicycle. The bicycle can be described as mottled red and black in colour, with a number of stickers on the frame.

The man can be described as Pacific Islander in appearance with tanned skin, short black hair and dark facial hair. At the time of the incident the man was wearing baggy blue jeans, long sleeve top with a black ‘puffa’ vest. The man also spoke with a strong accent, possibly British.
