Stolen trucks from Moncrieff recovered

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the theft of two large service trucks from a construction site in Moncrieff over the weekend, between 5.30pm on Saturday and 5.30am on Monday (17 to 19 January).

The first truck is described as a Mercedes AXOR05A model, predominantly white in colour with blue and yellow Hardy Bros signage on each side and with NSW registration BT 26 LH.

The second truck is described as a Hino D350D model, predominantly white in colour with blue and yellow Hardy Bros signage on each side and with NSW registration AU 73 LA.

Both trucks are used to service other vehicles and held about 10,000 litres of diesel fuel between them. Police are urging anyone who may have seen the vehicles, or may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area between 5.30pm on Saturday and 5.30am on Monday, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

The trucks have been recovered. One was found in Casey whilst the other was recovered in NSW.
