Canberra’s popular Saturday morning market, the Capital Region Farmers Market at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC), has responded to customer demand and increased their opening hours to allow even more Canberrans to enjoy the region’s freshest produce.
The new opening hours of 7:30am to 12:00pm come into effect on Saturday 1 September 2012. With the previous trading hours being 8:00am to 11:00am, this is an increase of 1.5 hours every week. “A recent customer survey revealed an increasing demand for extended opening hours,” said Farmers Market spokesperson, Tony Howard.
“Saturday morning is notoriously busy for families across the region, particularly for those with children’s sport or other weekend commitments. We’re hoping these new trading hours will allow even more customers to make their way to EPIC to enjoy the high-quality fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood and more at the Capital Region Farmers Market,” he continued.
