Police officers are searching for a man they believe is responsible for about $30,000 worth of fraudulent transactions at Bunnings Warehouse stores across Canberra.
It’s been alleged the man entered Bunnings stores in Majura Park, Gungahlin, Fyshwick, Belconnen and Tuggeranong on Friday, 22 September, Saturday, 23 September, and Saturday, 28 September.
While at the stores, it’s believed he fraudulently gained access to two business accounts and has since used those accounts to purchase more than $30,000 worth of tools and equipment.
Police have released images of the man and asked the community to help identify him.
The man was driving a white MG with Victorian registration IYD 4KW. The vehicle was also allegedly hired using fraudulent details.
