The Harrison Art Show is back on the calendar for the third successful year and will be held at Harrison Performing Arts Theatre Studio at Harrison School during June 27-29.
Harrison Art Show Coordinator Christina Saladino said this year is already stepping up to be the biggest show yet, with three great prizes up for grabs, which is open to all artists over the age of 16.
“We doubled the amount of people who walked in last year compared to the year before and we had many first time exhibitors successfully sell their art,” she said. “These types of events are important as it is a way of bringing different parts of the community together to celebrate art and creativity.”
“This year we have already increased the amount of interest from sponsors and artists and we’re only going to get bigger in coming years.” All entries are eligible for the following 3 prizes:
- $500 The Marketplace Art Prize
- $350 People’s Choice Credit Union – 2014 People’s Choice Art Prize
