Gungahlin Community Health Centre Walk-in Centre

Plans have been released for the new Gungahlin Walk-in Centre as an extension to the existing Gungahlin Community Health Centre. The Walk-in Centre development is a primary health care service which will provide one-off health care for people in Gungahlin and wider North Canberra region.

The proposed Walk-in Centre is to be developed on a landscaped area to the south east of the existing Community Health Centre and will comprise of 4 treatment rooms and waiting area.

Whilst there will be an internal connection to the existing health centre, the proposal creates an autonomous entry to cater for the Walk-in Centre’s extended hours of operation which will be 7:30am – 10pm every day of the year.

As reported here New Walk in Centres to provide better health care in Gungahlin construction is expected to commence one approvals have been provided with the centre to open this year.
