Canberra’s new integrated transport network has taken another significant step towards launch with the recent release of new timetables.
Transport Canberra today reminded commuters to check out the new timetables before the launch of the new network on 29 April to help plan their journey.
“The new bus network will impact all routes with updates to bus times and route information. These are significant changes which is why I’m encouraging commuters to start planning now and be prepared when the new network is launched at the end of April,” said Judith Sturman, Executive Group Manager Transport Canberra Operations.
“Customers will be able to access the TC journey planner to look up departure times by selecting a date after 29 April, along with their preferred route options depending on travels needs. Transport Canberra encourages customers to use the online TC Journey Planner for details on timetables and to help plan out their trips.”
There are a range of ways to get information or assistance about the new timetables:
– Talk to one of our Transport Officer or Customer Service Assistant located in major bus interchanges (wearing high-visibility vests).
– Get a copy of a printed timetable by visiting your local library or a MyWay recharge agent.
– Contact Access Canberra for more information on 13 17 10.
– Access the new TC journey planner and new timetable information by visiting www.transport.act.gov.au
“We know these are big changes for the community, and we want to assist people to plan their journey when the new network launches on 29 April,” said Ms Sturman.
