North Canberra-Gungahlin Athletics Club is one of the Gungahlin Lakes be.giving community groups during the month of June. We would encourage the Gungahlin community to support local athletes when visiting the Lakes Club Café by adding the token our container and thank you for your support.
Who? The North Canberra-Gungahlin Athletics Club began in 1956 soon after the ACT Athletics Association in 1955. We have been a community athletics club supporting northern Canberra athletes and in the late 1990’s branched out to Gungahlin and helped establish the Gungahlin Little Athletics Club.
Why? Our athletes are locals, young people who live or lived in the Gungahlin region; who have been Gungahlin little athletes. Your support for our be.giving imitative during June would greatly assist our junior athletes who aim for international competition. This year 4 athletes were selected to join young Australian Teams, however no funding came with their selection.
