Peta taking on the half marathon raising money for Domestic Violence Crisis Service

Peta from Ngunnawal and regular at Gungahlin parkrun who trains in and around Ngunnawal, Forde and Moncrieff is taking on the half marathon at the Australian Running Festival in 2019 raising money for Domestic Violence Crisis Service.

Peta shared that her and her family are survivors of domestic violence hence why she chose this particular charity. Peta also shared with us that she hopes to complete the 21.1 kilometer course in under 2 hours and 30 minutes which is just over 7 minutes for every kilometer.

Peta is hoping to raise $3,000 before the end of her run on Sunday 14th April. You can support her fundraiser here:
